I'm a mechanical design engineer specialized in lightweight design.

The foundation of my expertise was set during my studies of Mechanical Engineering (B.Sc.) and Lightweight Engineering (M.Sc.) in distinguished technical universities in Germany. Early on I specialized in product development, design, simulation and materials.

Some of my student work include:
- Design engineering of Li-Ion test batteries
- Finite Element Modeling of a structure from composite materials
- Programming optimization procedures to minimize the mass of a frame
- Programming optimization procedures for the stacking sequence of composite layups.

Since then, I worked for 5 years in various R&D environments in Germany, Europe and the United States where I was involved in automotive, robotics, aerospace, battery and rail. In these positions, I worked in design, analysis, testing, process and project management with companies including BMW, Airbus and Alstom among many others.

Over time, I also developed an affinity towards data science subjects where I realized plenty of projects including data management and analysis tools. These skills complement those in lightweight design which makes me a highly competent development engineer.

A word about software skills: Over the course of more than 15 years, I have acquired distinct knowledge of development tools, including CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor, Python, Matlab and MS Excel.
