Materials and processes specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking our future Materials and Processes Specialist (M/F) for our Nantes site.
Your mission involves overseeing trials on manufacturing processes and/or various materials, as well as data capitalization.
As part of the Industry division, particularly within the Nantes TECH CENTER (Shap'in), you will join the technological service with three key areas: automated material lay-up (AFP), stamping, and numerical simulation of processes implemented at our Nantes site.
Your missions:
Drafting study plans for materials and/or processes:
• Writing test procedures
• Defining testing methods
• Conducting or overseeing tests
• Analyzing and interpreting results
• Drafting test reports with technical conclusions and potential impacts.
Creating technical documentation:
• Studying and summarizing international literature related to the study plan
• Writing and updating Daher's material and/or process documentary standards
• Providing materials and/or processes expertise for ongoing production matters
• Serving as liaison between R&D and production services
• Supervising and coordinating projects, teams, and services
• Testing and verifying material and/or process characteristics
• Proposing new manufacturing methods aligned with the company's strategy
• Specifying conformity criteria and optimal use of raw materials and/or processes.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in materials and manufacturing processes, with expertise in:
• Technical mastery of thermoplastic methods and CAD varnish
• Project management skills
• Proficiency in technical English
• Technology watchfulness
• Designing new products or parts
• Conducting 3D projections and essential tests before manufacturing.
