Job Description:
HRC is one of the global leaders in advanced composite solutions, specializing in high-performance carbon fibre technology. With a presence in 5 countries worldwide, HRC supports the entire lifecycle of carbon fibre applications.

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Analyst to join our dynamic team in Barcelona.

Responsibilities
•   Generate FEA models from supplied CAD and specifications
•   Understand, design and requirements to implement loads and boundary conditions
•   Post process analysis results and interpret them in relation to the needs of the project
•   Conceive design improvements and present these to the customer
•   Produce reports of the project progress and the results of the analyses
•   Optimize workflows and guidelines

Qualifications
•   Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
•   At least 5 years’ relevant experience
•   Solid foundation in the application of finite element method, both explicit and implicit
•   Work experience with LS-Dyna and one other implicit FEA-Solver
•   Good problem-solving skills
•   Good communication skills and min. English B1
•   Be able to work in a team and on own initiative
•   Work experience with Abaqus and HyperMesh more than welcome
•   Experience in passenger vehicle safety and crash analysis favourably
•   Knowledge of analysis of composite structures favourably
•   Knowledge of optimization methods favourably
•   Experience with programming or scripting in any programming language favourably
