Sales Manager F/H Thermoplastics and Thermosets Markets

Job Description:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager Compounders & Rubbers within the Advanced Materials Business Unit of IMCD France, you will be responsible for managing a customer portfolio and overseeing raw material ranges in the Thermoplastics, Thermosets, and Rubber segments.
Main Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a client portfolio in the northern half of France.
• Prospect, initiate, and develop projects with industrial customers.
• Provide technical recommendations while considering customer constraints.
• Promote the product ranges of our suppliers.
• Analyze sales and commercial performance indicators.
• Monitor development opportunities and report to producers.

Your Strengths
• Engineering degree or equivalent in chemistry, ideally specialized in thermoplastic formulation.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial and technical roles within the chemical industry and/or plastics sector; experience in Thermoplastics and Thermosets markets is highly desirable.
• Experience in product, supplier, or project management.
• Experience within an international group and/or raw material distribution is a plus.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Autonomy, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, CRM, Databases).
Position Environment
• Permanent contract (CDI)
• Location: IMCD France headquarters (La Plaine Saint-Denis)
• 2 remote workdays per week
• 13 additional rest days (RTT) per year
• Company car
• Approx. 50% travel time
• Fixed salary based on your profile
• Variable compensation representing 15% of the fixed salary
