Job Description:
SINTEG Systems is a TU Delft spin off based at YES!Delft, developing advanced sensor systems for inspection and monitoring of composite materials. We design wireless, non-intrusive systems that assess the integrity and performance of composite structures without disassembly or destructive testing.

As Lead Engineer, you will take a central role in the technical development of our inspection systems. The role covers system level design and integration of hardware, software, and algorithms, as well as experimental validation in laboratory and field environments. You will define technical direction, coordinate a small multidisciplinary engineering team, and ensure research outcomes are translated into reliable, field deployable solutions.

Responsibilities include development of guided wave and acoustic inspection algorithms, hands on system integration, experimental testing and data analysis, and technical supervision of engineers and interns. You will work closely with management and project teams to align technology development with customer requirements and company objectives.

The role requires a strong background in signal processing, sensor systems, and experimental testing, with experience in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools. Experience with composite materials or non-destructive testing is preferred but not required. A Masters or PhD in a relevant engineering or applied physics field is expected.
