Job Description:
Founded in 1973, Airtech is a family-owned global leader in auxiliary materials for high-performance composites, tooling, and additive manufacturing (pellets and filaments). Airtech Europe sarl is the European division since 1991 based in Differdange (Luxembourg).

The Technical Manager provides technical expertise and leadership to a multi-skilled team working within the global technical group to deliver the best possible technical solutions to customers working with composites, additive manufacturing and speciality applications.

Key responsibilities:
• Manage and develop a multi-skilled technical team ;
• Act as the technical reference for product specifications and applications, whether for customers, distributors, account managers, or internal production teams, and provide training when required ;
• Use technical expertise to develop new products, technologies, and process solutions ;
• Ensure compliance with regulations while safeguarding confidentiality and intellectual property.

Education and Skills:
• Master’s degree / Engineering degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or equivalent ;
• Significant professional experience in a similar technical and managerial role ;
• Experience in composite materials in design or manufacture and knowledge of additive manufacturing processes ;
• A proven ability to develop new material and process solutions ;
• Fluent in English (French is a plus), with strong communication and customer interaction skills ;
• Willingness to travel when required.
